AGM NOTICE
Blackwood Players Inc. will hold our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday, 11 December 2025 at 7pm, at the Blackwood Uniting Church rooms (the church at Blackwood roundabout, 266 Main Rd, Blackwood SA 5051.
All positions on our Board will be declared vacant, and we will be looking to elect the following:
1. President
2. Vice President
3. Treasurer
4. Secretary
5. Marketing Co-Ordinator
6. General Board Members, up to ten (10).
Members and interested persons are welcome to attend as we elect our team to bring Blackwood Players Inc. into our 75th year.
Please note: With our AGM just days away, we’ve now closed TryBooking membership purchases. There just isn’t enough time to process and ratify new memberships before the meeting.
If you haven’t had a chance to renew and would still like to do so before the AGM, please get in touch with our President, Greg Elliott, directly. He’ll be able to advise you on whether a late renewal can be accepted.
Following the AGM, memberships will reopen, via TryBooking.
MEMBERSHIP ENTITLEMENTS
Membership for Blackwood Players.
-All members will receive a 50pc discount of their own ticket for each production.
-Members who are participating in a production (either on or off stage) will receive two free tickets for any night, preferably opening night.
-All members will receive a newsletter via email, letting you know all events happening within Blackwood Players Inc.
-All members who take part on stage or backstage are covered by our insurance.
-All members 18+have a right to:
*Vote at an AGM or Special Meeting
*Examine associations, records, minutes, finances tec.
*Propose, second, vote for eligible persons to stand for election on Blackwood Players' Board
*Receive a copy of the Constitution for any relevant matters.
